How to Make a Pitaya Bowl

Posted: June 7, 2018

If anyone knows me, they know I love fruit and smoothies! If I could be a frugivore, I would! I’ve tried every smoothie recipe you could think of, and this pitaya (dragonfruit) bowl has turned out to be my favorite. It’s naturally pink and vibrant, and it makes me feel bright & happy when I eat it! I can literally feel my frequency vibrating higher. There are a few tweeks to the recipe depending on how thick you want it. I find the dragonfruit packs at Whole Foods.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pack of Pitaya Plus Smoothie Pack
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana OR 1/2 frozen & half fresh
  • 1/3 cup of liquid depending on how thick you desire (water, non-dairy milk, or orange juice)
  • Toppings: anything (fruit, cocoa nibs, coconut flakes, goji berries, chia seeds, etc.)

Directions:

Just throw everything in a blender! If you want a thicker consistency, use a frozen banana or half a frozen banana. If you want more of a smoothie, use a full fresh banana. I then top my bowl with all the fixings! I personally like adding some fruit with cocoa nibs, unsweetened coconut flakes, muesli, and chia seeds.

Enjoy! 🙂
