Whip up these delicious Vegan Chocolate Protein Cookies in less than 10 minutes for a healthy, high-protein breakfast or snack! Vegan, gluten-free, oil-free, refined sugar-free chocolate cookies with oats, banana, peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, chocolate chips, and a dab of maple syrup!
Grab one of these cookies for a quick snack or an on-the-go breakfast! Every day, I’ve been eating one of these cookies for breakfast and I just can’t get sick of them! They taste like an indulgent chocolate treat, but only contain healthy plant-based ingredients.
How to Make Vegan Chocolate Protein Cookies
For this super simple recipe, you just need a few essentials that you probably already have in your pantry! You can even customize this recipe’s flavors by using any protein powder you want – vanilla, chai, pumpkin spice!
First, you have to simply mash your bananas in a bowl. Make sure to use super ripe bananas for a sweeter taste!
Next, add in all remaining ingredients and mix together. Simple as that!
I then form round shapes out of the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Don’t worry about having perfectly round shaped cookies, they’re not going to look perfect.
Finally, pop them in the oven and enjoy!
Note: I put the measurement of the protein powder in ounces because all protein powder serving sizes have different scoop sizes. This is the most accurate way to measure your protein powder to ensure the recipe turns out like mine 🙂

Vegan Chocolate Protein Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 medium bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 scoops (about 40 g) chocolate vegan protein powder
- 1/3 cup vegan chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
Instructions

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Next, mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl.

Then, add in all remaining ingredients and mix together thoroughly.

Scoop mixture into even round cookie shapes on the baking sheet using a spoon. Flatten the tops with your spoon. I usually make around 6-8.

Finally, place cookies in the oven for about 15-18 minutes.

Once cookies are done, remove from oven and let cool before enjoying.
